We had a great trip. 750 miles of some of the toughest terrain imaginable, 4 rivers, crossing the Arctic Divide in an unusually warm, windy and wet arctic summer.

Adventure Eggs are amazing. They were our favorite menu item. We had a nine-egg bacon omelette every three days and boy did we look forward to it. We were averaging 25 miles a day, triple portaging, battling upstream, made some huge lake crossings, the Arctic Divide and then navigated countless rapids. The eggs were easy to prepare, kept our strength up and were delicious. An article of mine will be coming out in the Fall 2010 Boundary Water Journal along with other articles and speaking engagements.

One thing is for certain, once you try Adventure Eggs you will always want them in your grub pack.

Thanks for your support...
The Butler Country landfill collects, compresses and sends it to the Henningsen plant through a pipeline. The Henningsen plant then uses it to fire their boiler which is then used to generate steam and heat water and air in the dehydration porcess. Seventy-five percent of the Henningsen plant's gas needs come from the Butler County landfill.
Methane is a by-product of solid waste disposal. The greenhouse gas is burned to decrease pollutants and is twenty times more harmful than carbon dioxide. There are several programs through the EPA and local organizations that can help a business use their local resources for energy and can help minimize our carbon footprint on the earth. For more information on how to use your local resources contact your state organization.
